Founded in 1858, Baker University is the first and oldest in Kansas. Baker is a private, liberal-arts school of 4,000 students, and is located in Baldwin City. Its historic campus faces the challenge of growth and change, and PGAV has been involved in its master planning, as well as in the renovations of several buildings.

In this particular phase of improvements are the following: two former dormitories will be converted into administrative offices, one of which will house the university’s executive staff; the cafeteria will receive a revised and updated kitchen, servery, and dining area; and the main auditorium will be outfitted with new seats, wall paneling, acoustical treatment, lighting, and a freshened lobby.
